Eden Brown Synergy are seeking experienced Social Workers to join the Children Looked After (CLA/LAC) Team at Southend-on-Sea City Council.

Job Title: Qualified Social Worker Lac
Location: Victoria Ave, Southend-on-Sea SS2 6ER
Pay Rate: £38 per hour

Role Overview:
As a Social Worker in the LAC Team, you will support children looked after, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and development. You will manage your own caseload, work directly with children and families, and make sure each child's voice is central to all decisions.

Key Requirements:

  • Must be currently working in LAC/CLA
  • Available to start within 2-3 weeks (candidates on 4 weeks' notice cannot be considered)
  • Must reside within Essex borders
  • Must have access to a car and be able to drive

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
* Social Work England Registration
* Driving license and access to own vehicle
