EDEN BROWN SYENRGY is currently looking for an experienced & committed Social Worker for Derbyshire County Council , offering an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a well-established CP Team (Amber Valley)

PAY RATE : Upto £35.00p/h (Umb)

Roles & Responsibilities (R&R):

  • Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks
  • Develop, implement, and review care plans in line with statutory requirements
  • Work with children and families supported via Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Children Looked After (CLA) frameworks
  • Attend and contribute to case conferences, strategy meetings, and court proceedings as required
  • Provide high-quality, timely interventions to safeguard children and promote their welfare
  • Maintain accurate records and case documentation in compliance with professional and statutory standards
  • Collaborate with multi-agency partners to ensure coordinated support for children and families
  • Monitor and review the progress of cases and escalate concerns when necessary
  • Support continuous improvement within the team by contributing to reflective practice and peer supervision

Essential Requirements:

  • Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
  • At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
  • Social Work England Registration.
  • Driving license and access to own vehicle.
