Team Manager MASH Jobs Suffolk | Integrated Front Door Vacancy
Eden Brown Synergy are currently recruiting for an experienced Team Manager to join the MASH / Integrated Front Door service at Suffolk County Council.
This is a key leadership role within a fast-paced, multi-agency safeguarding environment, where you will oversee the screening, triaging, and decision-making process for all incoming safeguarding referrals across Children's Services.
About the Role - MASH Team Manager
As Team Manager within the MASH, you will:
- Lead and manage a multi-agency team, ensuring effective partnership working
- Provide day-to-day oversight of referrals and workflow, ensuring no drift or delay
- Take responsibility for decision-making on safeguarding contacts and thresholds
- Oversee quality assurance, audits, and performance within the Integrated Front Door
- Ensure high standards of information sharing in line with safeguarding legislation and protocols
- Chair multi-agency meetings and provide professional leadership across disciplines
- Drive service improvements and maintain a strong early help and prevention focus
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate workflow within the MASH / Integrated Front Door Service
- Provide leadership, supervision, and performance management to staff
- Ensure timely and effective risk assessments and safeguarding decisions
- Maintain oversight of case recording, data quality, and performance standards
- Work collaboratively with police, health, education, and partner agencies
- Lead on quality assurance activity including audits and service improvements
- Respond to complaints and ensure resolution at the earliest opportunity
About the Team - Suffolk MASH
The MASH receives all referrals relating to children and families across Suffolk and works to:
- Gather and analyse information from multiple agencies
- Decide the most appropriate safeguarding response
- Provide guidance through the Professional Consultation Line
- Ensure children and families receive the right support at the right time
Requirements - Team Manager MASH Suffolk
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
- Significant experience within MASH / Front Door / Safeguarding services
- Proven leadership experience as a Team Manager or Senior Practitioner
- Strong understanding of child protection, thresholds, and safeguarding processes
- Experience working in a multi-agency setting
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage high-pressure environments and competing demands
