We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team in Oldham. As a member of the MASH Team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments and investigations regarding child welfare and safeguarding concerns.
  • Collaborating with partner agencies to share information and develop coordinated responses.
  • Providing expert advice and support to social work staff and other professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Participating in strategy meetings and contributing to the development of child protection plans.

The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working within a MASH or similar safeguarding environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Proficient in case management systems and report writing.
