We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children in Care (CIC) and Looked After Children (LAC) team in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable children and their families. As a key member of our team, you will provide support, guidance, and advocacy to children in care, ensuring their needs are met and their voices heard.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children in care.
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and other professionals.
  • Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care, ensuring their welfare is prioritized.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to provide holistic support.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families, particularly in a CIC/LAC context.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
