We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Duty & Assessment Team in Rochdale. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support.

  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with local policy and national standards.
  • Participating in case conferences and contributing to safeguarding discussions.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a varied caseload.
