Qualified Social Worker - Duty & Assessment Team

Pay Rate: £36.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: LA1 1HY, Lancashire
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join the Duty & Assessment Team at Lancashire County Council.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy frontline team, where you will be responsible for completing statutory assessments, managing referrals, and safeguarding children and young people. You will work closely with children, families and partner agencies to assess risk, identify need and ensure timely interventions that promote positive outcomes.
You will play a key role in undertaking Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries, completing Child and Family Assessments, and making informed decisions in line with statutory guidance and local safeguarding procedures.
Key Skills Required:
Previous experience within Duty & Assessment, MASH, Child Protection or Children's Services
Strong knowledge of statutory safeguarding legislation and assessment frameworks
Experience undertaking Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries and managing complex caseloads
Excellent assessment, analytical and report writing skills
Strong communication and multi-agency partnership working abilities
Ability to make timely, child-focused decisions in a fast-paced environment
Social Work England registration required
Essential Requirements:
Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
Registered with Social Work England
Previous experience within Children's Services
Strong knowledge of statutory safeguarding legislation and children's social care practice
