We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our team in Nottinghamshire, specializing in Adults Safeguarding. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults in our community.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the level of risk and need for intervention.
- Developing and implementing care plans tailored to the specific needs of each individual.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to provide comprehensive support and protection.
- Advocating for the rights and best interests of adults at risk, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
- Participating in case conferences, reviews, and court proceedings as required.
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Work (QSW) registration with Social Work England.
- Demonstrated experience in working with adults in safeguarding or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to safeguarding vulnerable adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with service users and stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions under pressure.
