We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Fostering Team in Barnet as a Senior Social Worker/Advanced Practitioner. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and well-being of children in foster care, providing support to both foster carers and children to promote positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Assessing and supervising foster carers to ensure they provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in their care.
  • Undertaking complex assessments and developing care plans for children in foster placements.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and reviews to advocate for the best interests of the children.
  • Providing direct support and intervention to children and young people in foster care, addressing their emotional and developmental needs.

Essential qualifications and skills:
