We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced CP CHAIR to join our team in Nottinghamshire within the Qualified Social Work field. As a CP CHAIR, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children and families in need of support.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Chairing Child Protection Conferences and Reviews to assess risks and develop plans to ensure the safety of children.
- Working collaboratively with social workers, families, and other professionals to make informed decisions regarding child protection measures.
- Providing guidance and support to ensure that child protection plans are effectively implemented and monitored.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of child protection services through feedback and evaluation.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
- Demonstrated experience in child protection work within a social care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities to assess complex situations and risks.
