Children's SW - CP / Court / Permanence Team - Nottinghamshire

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our CP/Court/Permanence Team in Nottinghamshire. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people who are at risk of harm or in need of support.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Undertaking assessments and investigations to determine the best course of action for children and families.
  • Developing and implementing care plans to ensure the safety and well-being of children in care.
  • Attending court hearings and providing evidence to support legal proceedings.
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals, such as health care providers and educators, to provide holistic support to children and families.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a Children's Services setting, with a focus on Child Protection, Court, or Permanence.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and professionals effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage complex cases with sensitivity and professionalism.

Additional requirements for this position may include a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel within the Nottinghamshire area.
