We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Post Order and Permanence Team in Rochdale. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and services to children and families in need.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Managing a caseload of children subject to permanence orders
  • Conducting assessments and reviews to ensure the safety and well-being of children
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes
  • Participating in court proceedings and representing the best interests of children

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with HCPC registration
  • Experience working in a similar role within a statutory social work setting
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
