We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Birmingham - QSW - ASTI Team. As a member of this team, you will play a crucial role in providing support and intervention to vulnerable children, young people, and families in the Birmingham area.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Undertake assessments of children and families to identify their needs and develop appropriate care plans.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure the best outcomes for service users.
- Provide direct support and intervention to children and families in crisis situations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and reports.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and supervision to enhance professional development.
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification and HCPC registration.
- Demonstrated experience working within a children's social care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users and colleagues.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify risks and develop appropriate interventions.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a complex caseload efficiently.
