Occupational Therapist - Family Services, Barnet
Pay Rate: £39.93 per hour (Limited/Umbrella)
Location: 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London, NW9 4EW
Work Pattern: 1 day in the office, remaining time visiting families
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join the Family Services team in Barnet. This role involves a mix of office-based work and home visits to support families, providing strengths-based assessments and delivering outcomes-focused interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake assessments and reviews using occupational therapy skills to support children and families.
- Develop and implement tailored support plans aimed at improving wellbeing and family outcomes.
- Collaborate with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure effective and coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with service and HCPC standards.
Requirements:
- HCPC registered and qualified Occupational Therapist
- Experience working in family services or a similar community-based role
- Strong assessment, planning, and intervention skills
- Ability to work independently, manage caseloads, and travel to family homes
