Eden Brown Synergy are currently recruiting for an experienced Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) to join Cheshire East Council. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring high standards of care planning and positive outcomes for children and young people.
Location: SK10 1EA, Cheshire East
Pay Rate: £40 per hour (Umbrella)
About the Role:
* Chair and oversee Child in Care Reviews and ensure care plans remain outcome-focused
* Monitor and challenge practice to ensure children's needs are met effectively
* Work collaboratively with social workers, managers, carers, and partner agencies
* Ensure children and young people's voices remain central to all planning and decision-making
* Maintain high standards of safeguarding and statutory compliance
Requirements:
* Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
* Previous experience working as an Independent Reviewing Officer within Children's Services
* Strong safeguarding, care planning, and reviewing experience
* Ability to challenge appropriately and drive positive outcomes for children
