- Providing direct support and guidance to children with disabilities and their families, fostering independence and resilience.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Advocating for the rights and needs of children, ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making processes.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience working in children’s social services, particularly with children with disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
