Team Manager - Children in Care Team - Staffordshire
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Team Manager to join the Children in Care (CIC) Team 1 at Staffordshire County Council.
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Agency
Duties and Responsibilities:
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Managing a team of 6 FTE staff including 1 SWPL, 2 Senior Practitioners, and 3 Social Workers
- Providing leadership, supervision, and performance management across the team
- Overseeing care planning and ensuring positive outcomes for Children in Care
- Supporting staff with complex cases and decision-making
- Working closely with CIC Team 2 and wider safeguarding services
- Building strong links with Assessment Teams, Duty, and Early Help services within Tamworth district
- Ensuring compliance with statutory responsibilities and local authority procedures
- Driving high standards of practice and timely case progression
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' Team Manager experience within a UK Local Authority
- Social Work England registration
- Strong experience within Children in Care / Looked After Children services
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Full UK driving licence
