Cheshire West is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Family Help team on a temporary contract. As a Social Worker in the Family Help team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with other professionals and agencies to coordinate services and resources.
  • Providing ongoing support, advice, and advocacy to families throughout the intervention process.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with families in a social work setting, particularly within family support or child protection.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
