Pay Rate: £39.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: OL6 7SG, Tameside
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Qualified Social Worker to join the Kinship Fostering Team at Tameside Council.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated Kinship Fostering Team, supporting children to achieve permanence through family and friends care arrangements. You will undertake complex kinship assessments, provide ongoing support to kinship carers, and work collaboratively with children, families and partner agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes.
As a Senior Qualified Social Worker, you will also provide guidance and support to colleagues, contribute to best practice, and assist with the development of high-quality service delivery.
Key Skills Required:
- Experience within Kinship Fostering, Fostering, Permanency or Children's Services
- Strong knowledge of kinship assessments, fostering regulations and safeguarding procedures
- Experience completing complex assessments and supporting kinship carers
- Excellent assessment, report writing and analytical skills
- Strong communication and multi-agency working abilities
- Ability to manage a complex caseload and support positive outcomes for children
- Social Work England registration required
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- Registered with Social Work England
- Previous experience within Children's Services
- Strong knowledge of statutory children's social care legislation and fostering practice
