Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Youth Justice Case Manager to join the Early Help, Support & Protection Team at Sefton Council.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated Youth Justice Service, working with children and young people who are at risk of offending or have entered the criminal justice system. You will manage a varied caseload, undertake assessments, develop intervention plans and work closely with families and partner agencies to reduce offending and promote positive outcomes.

You will play a key role in safeguarding young people, managing risk, supporting rehabilitation and ensuring effective multi-agency collaboration to help children achieve their full potential.

Key Skills Required:

  • Previous experience within Youth Justice, Youth Offending, Early Help or Children's Services

  • Strong knowledge of youth justice legislation, safeguarding and risk assessment

  • Experience managing complex caseloads and delivering targeted intervention plans

  • Ability to build positive relationships with children, young people and their families

  • Excellent communication, assessment, report writing and multi-agency working skills

  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes

  • Relevant professional qualification and/or Social Work England registration (where applicable)

Essential Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in Social Work, Youth Justice, Probation, Criminology or equivalent

  • Previous experience working with children, young people or families

  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and youth justice practice

  • Excellent assessment, planning and case management skills
