Perm Children's SW - CIN/CP Team - Leicester

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Permanent Children's Social Worker to join our CIN/CP Team in Leicester. As part of this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to children and families involved in Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) cases.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Undertaking assessments to identify risks and needs of children and families
  • Developing and implementing care plans to safeguard and promote the welfare of children
  • Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure effective support and interventions
  • Providing direct support to children and families through regular visits and reviews
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews as required

The ideal candidate for this position should possess:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England
  • Proven experience in working within Children's Services, specifically in CIN and CP teams
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills to effectively evaluate risks and needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage challenging situations with professionalism
