We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Shropshire CP/Court team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families involved in court proceedings and child protection cases.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting assessments and formulating care plans for children and families
  • Attending court hearings and providing evidence as required
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the safety and well-being of children
  • Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and make recommendations
  • Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England
  • Experience working within a CP/Court team and a strong understanding of relevant legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage complex cases effectively
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and upholding ethical standards

Additional requirements for this position include a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel within the Shropshire area.
