Practice Development Senior Social Worker - Slough £40

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Development Senior Social Worker to join our team in Slough. As a key member of our Qualified Social Work department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the professional development and practice improvement of our social work staff.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to social workers, assisting them in enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and workshops to improve practice standards and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for enhancing practice quality.
  • Collaborate with other team members and external stakeholders to promote best practices and drive continuous improvement in social work services.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in a senior social work role, with a focus on practice development and staff training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality improvement.
