We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Team Manager (ATM) to join our Family Safeguarding Service team in Bracknell Forest. This hybrid position offers a unique opportunity for a qualified social worker to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable families.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Supporting the Team Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Family Safeguarding Service
- Providing supervision and guidance to a team of social workers and support staff
- Participating in case conferences, assessments, and reviews to ensure the safety and well-being of children and families
- Collaborating with external agencies and professionals to coordinate services and interventions
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery through feedback and evaluation
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in child protection and safeguarding
- Registered with Social Work England
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a strong understanding of social work principles and practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
