Anti-Social Behaviour Officer - Roles & Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases, including noise nuisance, harassment, domestic abuse-related tenancy breaches, vandalism, neighbour disputes, and criminal damage.
Investigate complaints thoroughly by gathering evidence, conducting interviews, taking witness statements, and liaising with complainants, alleged perpetrators, and partner agencies.
Carry out risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to safeguard victims and identify high-risk cases requiring urgent intervention.
Work in partnership with the Police, local authority teams, legal services, environmental health, social services, and community safety units to resolve complex ASB issues.
Issue warning letters, tenancy breach notices, Acceptable Behaviour Contracts (ABCs), Community Protection Warnings, and Notices Seeking Possession where appropriate.
Prepare legal case files and supporting documentation for injunctions, possession proceedings, evictions, and court hearings.
Attend court hearings, case conferences, MARAC meetings, and multi-agency safeguarding meetings as required.
Conduct home visits, site inspections, and estate patrols to monitor ongoing issues and gather evidence.
Support victims of ASB by maintaining regular communication, providing reassurance, and signposting to specialist support services.
Ensure all cases are recorded accurately on housing management and case management systems in line with GDPR and organisational policies.
Monitor case outcomes, identify trends, and contribute to service improvement initiatives aimed at reducing repeat incidents.
Promote tenancy sustainment and community cohesion through early intervention, mediation referrals, and preventative action.
