Lancashire - QSW - Fostering Team
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Social Worker to join the Fostering Team at Lancashire Council.
Pay Rate: £36 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: County Hall, PR1 8RE
As a Social Worker in the Fostering Team, you will support, assess, and supervise foster carers to ensure safe, stable, and nurturing placements for children and young people. You will work closely with carers and partner agencies to promote placement stability, safeguard children, and ensure positive outcomes. You will play a key role in building strong relationships and supporting carers in meeting the needs of children in their care.
Key Skills Required:
- Experience working within Fostering/Looked After Children services
- Ability to assess and support foster carers effectively
- Strong skills in building relationships with carers, children, and partner agencies
- Ability to ensure placement stability and safeguard children
- Ability to produce high-quality assessments and reports
- Strong decision-making and professional judgement
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree, DipSW, or equivalent
- Registered with Social Work England
- Experience within children's services
- 5 years reference, gaps in employment history checked, and relevant qualifications as per JDPS
