Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join the Children Looked After (CLA) Team at Knowsley Borough Council.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive local authority committed to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people in care.
📍 Location: Poplar Bank, Huyton, Knowsley, Merseyside, L36 9GD
💼 Contract: Full-Time
💰 Pay Rate: £40 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of children who are looked after, ensuring their safety, stability, and well-being
- Develop and implement care plans in line with statutory requirements
- Undertake regular visits, reviews, and risk assessments
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals, carers, and families
- Support permanency planning, including fostering, adoption, and transitions to independence
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work degree
- Registered with Social Work England
- Proven experience within a Children Looked After / LAC team
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and safeguarding procedures
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
