Team Lead - SEND Operations

Devon County Council is creating a temporary, specialist team looking to support improved response and resolution in relation to complaints and disputes. We are looking for a Team leader who has significant experience and expertise in the statutory processes relating to EHC plans and also understands the need to work with families and schools in a relational way to support resolution. The main deliverables of this role:
introduce robust complaint and medication tracking tailored to SEND
triage and manage SEND complaints and mediation requests
reduce overdue complaints and escalation risk
generate learning and insight to improve practice
prepare the system for SEND inspection in relation to complaints
