Locum Occupational Therapist - Major Adaptations Unit (Adult Community)
Location: Croydon
Rate: £36.75 per hour
Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week

The Adult Community Occupational Therapy (ACOT) Service at London Borough of Croydon is seeking an experienced Locum Occupational Therapist to join our Major Adaptations Unit.

Role Overview:
As part of the Major Adaptations Unit, you will:

  • Undertake home visits to complete assessments and follow up on recommendations made by Occupational Therapy staff in locality teams.
  • Make recommendations and arrange provision for major adaptations and complex equipment.
  • Prepare sketches, read plans, and provide detailed specifications for major works.
  • Liaise with partner agencies, teams, and contractors, ensuring adaptations are completed efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of specialist equipment, major adaptations, and manual handling is essential.
  • Current HCPC registration is required.
