Pay Rate: Up to £39.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: M32 0TH, Trafford
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join the Support and Protect Team at Trafford Council.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with children and families where safeguarding concerns have been identified, ensuring children receive the right support and protection. You will manage a varied caseload, undertake statutory assessments, complete Child in Need and Child Protection work, and work in partnership with families and multi-agency professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
Key Skills Required:
- Experience within Child Protection, Child in Need, Support and Protect, Safeguarding or Assessment Teams
- Strong safeguarding, assessment and risk management skills
- Experience completing statutory assessments and managing complex caseloads
- Knowledge of Section 17 and Section 47 processes
- Excellent communication, report writing and multi-agency working skills
- Social Work England registration required
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- Registered with Social Work England
- Previous experience within Children's Services
- Strong knowledge of statutory safeguarding legislation and children's social care practice
