Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for a committed and experienced CWD Social Worker to join the Children with Disabilities Team at Bury Council.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive service, delivering high-quality social work practice and improving outcomes for children with disabilities and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of children with disabilities, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and development
* Undertake assessments, care planning, and statutory reviews in line with legislation
* Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals including health, education, and support services
* Provide guidance and support to families and carers to promote positive outcomes
* Engage in safeguarding and child protection procedures where required
* Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case recordings
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work degree or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England
* Minimum 5 years of referenceable employment history, with gaps in employment fully explained and verified
* Relevant qualifications in line with JDPS requirements
* Proven experience within Children with Disabilities or similar teams
* Strong communication, assessment, and organisational skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
