Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join the Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team at Bury Council.
This is a great opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive local authority, making a meaningful impact on the lives of children with disabilities and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of children with disabilities, ensuring their safety, welfare, and development
* Undertake assessments, care planning, and statutory reviews in line with legislation
* Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners including health, education, and other services
* Provide support and guidance to families and carers to achieve positive outcomes
* Participate in safeguarding and child protection procedures where required
* Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work degree or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England
* Previous experience within Children with Disabilities or similar teams
* Strong assessment, communication, and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
